Leon is a senior marketing executive with over four decades of experience in advertising, brand communications, and agency leadership.
He began his career as a freelance promotion and event manager while still pursuing his degree in business management in 1981. Since then, he has consistently brought strategic clarity and visionary leadership to the evolving marketing landscape, culminating in his first appointment as Managing Partner of PROCONCEPT, Germany's leading experiential and brand activation agency.
Leon has deep expertise in integrated marketing and brand communications for blue-chip clients across both consumer and B2B sectors. His industry experience includes FMCG, consumer electronics and home entertainment, automotive, financial services, energy and healthcare.
Motivated by the ambition to build an independent next-generation activation agency group, he was co-founder of the BrandGalaxy Group. Bringing together twelve specialized agencies, the group works in an interdisciplinary and cross-media way to deliver seamless, highly engaging brand experiences for its clients.
Leon specializes in marketing strategy, sales, new business development and relationship marketing. He is also recognized as a leading expert in developing and negotiating brand partnerships. In addition to his agency work, he has lectured at various German universities and has received numerous national and international marketing awards.
As a board member representing Europe in the ICOM network, Leon plays a role in driving strategic planning and promoting collaboration across the region. He actively works to strengthen ties between member agencies, encouraging knowledge exchange and shared initiatives that enhance the collective impact of the network.
