Patrick WALHAIN

Patrick is a high -level professional communication head.

After graduating from a major French university in finances and marketing , he joined various international agencies such as FCB and TBWA.

He founded his first advertising agency Dassas Jaglin Walhain , serving local & international clients such as Lacoste, Thomson Electronics, Haribo, Vademecum, Le Figaro magazines.

In 2008 , he started a new professional challenge with Quai des Orfèvres, serving major brands, Porsche, Crocs, Candia, Red Bull, Swiss Life.

He won many awards , Grand Prix Strategies, Agency of the Year, Effie.

He managed the Cow Parade in Paris, an outdoor exhibition of 120 cows designed and painted by 75 artists. This 2-month exhibition in Central Paris, financed by 69 sponsors, reached 10 million visitors and 12 million euros media coverage.

His role within ICOM: 

Successfully facing the challenges of the future, the ICOM ecosystem rely on its DNA, its history, its experiences, its values. 

As Board Member-at-Large, this is what he is committed. 

Being the oldest Board Member, he is particularly demanding with regard to the decisions that have to be made, never failing to recall what has worked in the past but also what has failed in order to avoid repeating mistakes. 

Still active in the management of the ICOM agency in Paris, he also knows the challenges that ICOM agencies face with their clients, the digital & IA issues and the perspectives of our business. 

He makes sure to take the past, present and future into account in the Board's decisions.
