ICOM Appoints Pulse Ltd. As Its Representative in Ukraine

ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA) – ICOM, the largest global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Pulse Ltd., Kiev, to represent the network in Ukraine.

Founded in 1993 and now with more than 1,400 employees, Pulse is one of the country’s largest full service marketing agencies, offering a range of mostly below-the-line services including research, sales and merchandising, promotions, logistics, outsourcing, training, events and public relations. The agency handles a number of multinational clients, such as Coca-Cola, Heineken, Henkel, Kraft, LG, L’Oreal, Nestle, Red Bull and Sanofi, as well as many local firms.

The agency wanted to join an international network of independent agencies to develop new business opportunities and have relationships with agencies in other countries. “We are looking forward to meeting new people and building relationships,” said Pulse Managing Director Stuart McKenzie.

ICOM offers the broadest geographic coverage of any network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies through more than 90 member agencies in 65-plus countries.  ICOM Executive Director Gary Burandt said the appointment of Pulse is a significant addition to ICOM and an important step in the development of the growing Eurasian region. ICOM  is the world’s largest independent network of advertising and marketing communications agencies. Annual billings total US$3.5 billion with gross income exceeding US $500 million.
