Miguel Pereira is an entrepreneur and executive with more than 25 years of experience in management posts of marketing departments and agencies in the United States and Europe.
He is currently Chief Executive and co-founding partner of Darwin Social Noise, a creative and strategy-based agency with a highly digital capability working with leading international brands on three main vectors: creativity, content, and technology. Miquel Pereira was previously Marketing Director of the newspaper EL PAÍS (2001-2006), having worked for six years before that in marketing management positions at media firms in the United States.
He has a degree in Business Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid, specialising in Market Research at Dublin City University (Erasmus). He has also completed an Executive Programme at UCLA (Los Angeles) and an Executive Development Programme at the IESE (Madrid). He is a lecturer on digital marketing and audio-visual storytelling in several master’s programmes in Madrid, as well as a founding partner and member on the Governance Board of Club Matador, among other business projects in which he takes part.
Miguel speaks Spanish, English and Italian, and has also trained as a photographer, a job he has done at various times in his life.
