Finland’s Super Analytics Selected for ICOM Membership

Global Indie Marcom Network Expanding Disciplines

Super Analytics has been selected for membership by ICOM, a global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies.  The appointment of Super Analytics continues ICOM’s expansion of capabilities by widening its membership to organizations with more diverse disciplines, in this instance, data-driven marketing agencies.

“Data-driven marketing is such a hot topic in the marcom world today, and agencies specializing in this discipline offer a valuable service to clients,” said ICOM Executive Director Emma Keenan. “Adding such agencies to our membership not only helps clients learn how to capitalize on using customer data but also keeps our agencies ahead of the game.”

Founded in 2012, Super Analytics dives deep into a client’s data to look for anomalies, to detect any defects and to seek opportunities to grow business.  The agency serves clients of all sizes from Toyota and Viacom to small enterprises across the Nordic region. “Investment in digital media and analytics often offers a big payoff even for startups,” said Super Analytics CEO Kalle Heinonen. “Our best examples come from digital business optimization where we have helped our customers gain more revenue with shopping cart abandonment recovery strategies and customer experience optimization.”

Last year, for instance, the agency helped a leading retailer of kitchen items in Finland increase annual relevant online traffic to its website by 224% while at the same time increase annual lead generation by 86%, making digital the company’s most profitable sales channel.

“We improve the customer experience by measuring all customer interactions and using the data of those interactions to add value to the customer's buying journey,” Heinonen explained.

Super Analytics came to the attention of ICOM via Helsinki-based Avalon, an ICOM member since 2009. The two agencies have been collaborating to build a stronger full service offering for their clients in the areas of modern marketing, marketing automation, social media and analytic and data-driven marketing solutions.

“The aim is to deepen the collaboration even more by mutual service development,” said Kati Lanu, Avalon CEO. “We are very happy with the partnership because Super Analytics has expertise in both traditional media measurement techniques as well as modern digital media. We speak exactly the same professional language, and as a bonus these guys are fun to work with!”

Super Analytics joins on the ICOM agency roster two other new data-driven marketing specialists, Oxyma in the Netherlands and Pathfinder, purchased last year by ICOM member Buffalo, NY-based FARM.

Heinonen said he believes collaboration with other ICOM agencies can take Super Analytics’ international expansion to a whole new level because of the network’s broad reach all around the world. ICOM will help Super Analytics participate in global media and analytics pitches the data-driven agency would otherwise have not been involved with and, in turn, Super Analytics can help Nordic businesses expand across the globe working with ICOM partners.
