Challenge

Westin wanted to reinforce its positioning as a leader in wellness hospitality, but faced a challenge: how to engage urban consumers who are often too busy to step away from their daily routines. Rather than relying on property visits, the objective was to bring Westin’s “Eat Well, Sleep Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well, Play Well” brand pillars directly to consumers where they lived, worked, and moved.

Approach

Sweetwater developed a highly adaptive, mobile activation: The Westin Wellness Dome. Designed to meet people where they are, the Dome delivered tailored wellness experiences based on location, time of day, and the audience’s specific needs — much like a programmatic digital ad, but experienced in the real world.

Over a 12-day activation period, the Dome popped up across 5 key locations in Dubai, delivering 7 distinct wellness concepts:
– Morning fitness sessions to promote Move Well
– Mindfulness and meditation breaks to encourage Feel Well
– Nutritious food experiences highlighting Eat Well
– On-site workspaces supporting Work Well
– Recreational moments inspiring Play Well
– Sleep education and relaxation techniques supporting Sleep Well

All experiences designed to integrate into people’s daily flow, increasing relevance and participation.

By activating in business districts, shopping areas, parks, and residential communities, the Dome became a traveling ambassador for Westin’s wellness promise.

Results

The activation successfully:
