The partnership marks a significant step in ICOM\u2019s strategy to expand its European region and strengthen its presence in the Baltics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1995 (formerly NORD DDB), the agency rebranded to <strong>Magic<\/strong> in 2022 when it became fully independent. Since then, the agency has gone from strength to strength, consistently being named <strong>Baltic Agency of the Year<\/strong> &#8211; most recently in 2024. Notably, Magic was the first Latvian agency to win a <strong>Euro EFFIE Gold<\/strong>, cementing its reputation for world-class creative effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Magic operates with a core team of approximately 45+ staff, reaching a total of 80+ professionals through its wider <a href=\"https:\/\/balticbest.eu\/advertising-agency-nord-ddb-transforms-into-magic-and-establishes-the-b40-partner-agencies-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>B40 partner-agency group<\/strong><\/a>. This group includes a creative agency, design studio, content and digital production, and brand consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/andris-rubins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Andris Rubins<\/strong><\/a><strong>, CEO and co-owner of Magic<\/strong>, was introduced to the network by fellow member <a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/annika-avikson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Annika Avikson<\/strong><\/a>, CEO of AD Angels in Estonia. Rubins noted that the decision to join ICOM was driven by a desire for collaboration while maintaining independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We want to stay independent, but we also look forward to tapping into peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and connecting our team with the ICOM Creative Council. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It will be useful to have access to global partners as we continue to grow.
