The setting proved ideal for candid conversations, fresh frameworks, and shared ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Keynote speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/anthonygindin\/?originalSubdomain=ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anthony Gindin<\/a>, founder of Agency Different (Canada), challenged members to rethink how they grow. His session, \u201cBuilding an Intelligent Automated Pipeline,\u201d laid out the tools modern agencies need to thrive, from AI and automation to sharper positioning and sustained engagement. His message struck a chord: 91% of attendees acknowledged the need to evolve their current new business strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agenda continued with powerful member-led sessions packed with tactical value:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list details-ul-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/richard-muscat-azzopardi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Richard Muscat Azzopardi<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/agency\/switch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Switch<\/a>, Malta) unpacked a 20-point framework designed to help businesses self-assess across areas like brand foundation, visual identity, business and communication strategy\u2014offering a clear lens to identify where they are, where they\u2019re headed, and what\u2019s holding them back.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/david-longden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">David Longden<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/agency\/golley-slater\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Golley Slater<\/a>, UK) introduced a prosperity-focused growth engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/pedro-barbosa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pedro Barbosa<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/agency\/wise-pirates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wise Pirates<\/a>, Portugal) shared how his agency translates long-term vision into actionable annual strategies through a collaborative, data-informed planning process that involves every team member\u2014from leadership to junior staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/frederic-rondeau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Rondeau<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/agency\/espace-m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Espace M, Canada<\/a>) traveled across the Atlantic to join the meeting, underscoring ICOM\u2019s spirit of collaboration. He presented the <em>Inter-Agency New Business Accelerator<\/em>, highlighting how members are joining forces across borders to win bigger opportunities together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This regional meeting also served as a live check-in on network initiatives. Updates on the New Business Group, AI Group, and Creative Council revealed tangible progress since last year\u2019s Cascais gathering, with more momentum expected into 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Day two shifted from presentations to conversations. In a roundtable format, each agency shared what\u2019s working well, the areas they\u2019re refining, recent initiatives they\u2019ve introduced, and the key insights they\u2019ve gained, creating a strong sense of connection and open exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen you bring together agency leaders who are honest, generous and curious enough to think beyond day-to-day pressures, you create the conditions for real progress,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/leaders\/leon-dominitz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leon Dominitz<\/a>, Managing Partner at <a href=\"https:\/\/icomagencies.com\/agency\/brandgalaxy-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BrandGalaxy Group<\/a> and ICOM\u2019s Regional Director Europe. &#8220;Gozo showed how aligned we are and how ready we are to grow smarter together.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re heading home inspired and genuinely strengthened by one another\u2019s insights and fully committed to translating our shared ideas into meaningful action in the months ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally, no ICOM gathering is complete without a little magic. From sunset walks along the cliffs to dinner with the view of Gozo\u2019s ancient fortified city of Citadella, the Gozo experience offered the perfect reset, grounding the meeting\u2019s insights in something slower, richer, and deeply memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As attendees returned home with notebooks full of ideas, they also carried renewed purpose.
