Weyforth-Haas - Overland Park, Kansas

Following last year’s merger with Atlanta agency Bennett Kuhn Varner (BKV), management at Weyforth-Haas Marketing recently made the decision to assume its sister agency’s name and become BKV.

The reason for this decision is simple: marketing the company under one name reinforces that we’re one company with a broad range of marketing experts and resources to serve clients. The agency works with major brands doing cutting-edge creative work that not only drives measurable sales, but strengthens clients’ brands. BKV people have the specialized skills to drive results in all media, including direct and interactive. It makes sense to strengthen the agency’s brand by marketing the entire organization under the same, well recognized name.

The company’s nearly 150 employees work at two locations. The office in Overland Park (a suburb of Kansas City) focuses on business-to-business clients, while the Atlanta branch works mostly in the business-to-consumer and not-for-profit arenas. The full-service direct marketing company provides a broad range of services, from media, creative, database and interactive services to research and public relations. The company’s board of directors will be composed of Kelley Haas, chairman; Brent Kuhn, vice chairman; Rick Skaggs, president and chief executive officer; and Maribett Varner, president of the Atlanta office.
