Electrical Contractor Gives Lucky Winner Free Electricity for 2010

As part of the launch of their Residential Services division, American Electric Company, LLC., a client of Loomis-ISC in Honolulu, recently held a Free Electricity Sweepstakes and presented the lucky winner with a check to help pay for his electricity costs in 2010.

“I’m very surprised and excited,” said Jean Rasor, a retired airline worker, who welcomes the winnings while living on a fixed income. Jean had filled out an entry form at the American Electric booth during an annual trade show in the fall. His family was drawn to the savings in the sweepstakes after previously investing in a solar hot water heater to reduce their energy costs. Electricity rates in the Hawaiian Islands are among the highest in the nation, so every bit of savings helps.

American Electric recently added solar energy services to their Residential Services division and is encouraging isle residents to utilize Hawaii’s most abundant alternative energy source – sunshine. “We’re proud to support our clients’ efforts to promote green technologies and practices that will help consumers and businesses lower costs while reducing our impact on the environment,” said Dawn Webster, President/CEO of Loomis-ISC.

American Electric is Hawaii’s largest, locally owned commercial electrical contractor and one of the most trusted electrical contractors in the state since 1946. The company has performed work on private, city, state, and federal projects, and has offices on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii and Kauai.
