The ViVA Partnership - Miami, Florida

ViVA Partnership Adds Two New Partners, Hispanic Market Veterans, Omar Garcia and Carlos Montano Mejia

After a decade of success as a full service Hispanic/Latin America marketing agency, ViVA is looking ahead to “next generation” Hispanic marketing innovation by adding two new partners, Hispanic market veterans, Omar Garcia and Carlos Montaño Mejía. Both are joining ViVA as equity partners and members of senior management.

Omar Garcia will serve as Chief Strategy Officer, based in the San Antonio office; and Carlos Montaño Mejía will become ViVA’s new Chief Creative Director, operating from the Miami headquarters.

Building for the Future

ViVA is moving into a new, exciting phase, looking to raise the bar for the industry overall and taking a leadership position in Hispanic/Cross-Cultural Marketing. We evaluated the needs of our clients and determined the best ways to help them grow their brands. Under our new leadership team, our clients will benefit from a breadth of expertise, from laying the foundation of solid Hispanic brand strategy, through solid insight generation--the base for targeted marketing communications solutions-- and finally to flawless and results-oriented creative execution.

Carlos Montaño Mejía brings over 15 years of cross-cultural, U.S. Hispanic and Latin American marketing expertise to the ViVA Partnership team.

Omar Garcia, a senior level marketing executive from the corporate world, has held positions with Blue Chip corporations such as Mott’s, Tecate, Dr. Pepper/7-Up and Labatt’s.  As a marketer, Garcia earned a reputation as a savvy “turn-around” expert after propelling Tecate from the number 13 position to number 5 in the imported beer category.

New ViVA Model Keeps Clients “One on One” With Senior Executives

As part of the “new” ViVA Partnership business paradigm, the three partners have agreed to limit the number and size of new clients the agency will work with in 2008. One-on-one, direct involvement of senior staff is a critical distinction for ViVA Partnership.
