The SKM Group received four awards in the 2008 Summit International Awards organization’s creative competition. Summit is one of the premier organizations that celebrates advertising excellence around the globe. SKM took home awards in the Poster, Consumer Direct Marketing-Single and Poster Campaign categories.
In the Poster category, SKM won for its “Power of a Play” poster for Studio Arena Theatre, as well as an award in the Consumer Direct Marketing Single category for its Studio Arena Acquisition Mailer for Studio Arena Theatre. SKM also won in the Poster Campaign category for “Vertical Hour”, “Indian Blood”, “Don’t Talk to the Actors”, and “Bay Boy” for Studio Arena Theatre and in the Consumer Direct Marketing Single category for its Alcoa Benefits Mailer for American Benefits Consulting.
The Summit Creative Award competition, created to recognize the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies throughout the world, annually draws thousands of submissions from twenty-five countries. This year’s entries were judged based on the strength of their big idea, the quality of execution and their ability to persuade.
