Loomis-ISC - Honolulu, Hawai'i

Represents ING DIRECT in Hawai‘i

After visiting with several agencies based in Honolulu, Loomis-ISC was chosen to represent ING DIRECT, the fun, innovative, community-focused bank, which is scheduled to open its newest location in Hawai‘i, in early fall 2008.

ING DIRECT CEO, Arkadi Kuhlmann and the Head of Hawai‘i Operations, Cleo Brown, 40-year resident and veteran financial executive, understand the importance of reaching out to the community. “Hawai‘i was home for many years and the warmth and culture of the people of Hawai‘i have remained in my heart,” said Kuhlmann. “I am proud to bring the customer-focused value of ING DIRECT to the families, children and communities of the islands.”  The ING DIRECT destination in Waikiki will provide a friendly gathering place where residents and tourists will gather, participate and learn how to improve their financial well being.

“We chose Loomis-ISC because we felt they shared our ethos and they listened well,” said Brown.

The 1958 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, location will feature a full-service Café where customers can enjoy a cup of locally grown coffee and begin the journey back to saving. ING DIRECT staff will be on hand to educate customers on ING DIRECT’s full range of deposit, loan and long-term savings products.

ING DIRECT, the nation's largest direct bank and third largest thrift, is dedicated to inspiring Americans to become a nation of savers. Since its inception in 2000, more than 6.5 million Americans have entrusted their savings with ING DIRCT, building the bank to $80 billion in assets.
