about

Brandhouse - Copenhagen, Denmark

Since the early 90s, Stiig has been recognized as a pioneer and a specialist in customer-centric business development and brand-building within the Danish advertising industry. He has developed one of today’s strongest strategy-based agencies in the country helping brands improve their business by putting customers’ needs first. Stiig did not study advertising or marketing; he started out as a lawyer - and that prompted him to take a different approach to advertising than most. He thinks of himself not as a devil’s advocate but when advising clients as a customer’s advocate, and he encourages his staff to do the same.

Today, with more than 30 years of advertising experience, he believes that his customers-first approach to brand-building is what makes Brandhouse more than just another advertising agency and is better described as a communications consultancy. Every year Brandhouse conducts one of Europe’s largest customer experience and relationship surveys. This survey transforms insights into relevant customer journeys and subsequently strategic and creative solutions, which insures each brand a strong and a unique position in the market.

Throughout the years, Stiig’s and Brandhouse’s strategic and creative work has been widely acknowledged, both nationally and internationally. Most recently, in 2015 Brandhouse was awarded The Agency of the Year in Denmark as well as became a finalist at the Cannes International Film Festival. Brandhouse was also awarded Best Film of 2015 at The True Award in Denmark.

And without Stiig, there may have been no special day to celebrate love in Denmark. He helped Interflora Denmark market the Valentine’s Day concept, and the holiday is now a big gift-giving occasion benefitting Danish florists, chocolateries and many more businesses.
