ICOM Appoints Brands Communication Group (BCG) As Its Representative in Costa Rica

ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA) – ICOM, a leading global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Brands Communication Group (BCG), San José, to represent the network in Costa Rica.

Founded in 2004, BCG is a young agency seeking to grow by learning from experienced ICOM agency members in larger markets around the world. The agency is led by Founder-Director Gabriela Molina Randel, whose vision is to create a specialty agency internationally recognized for innovative creative solutions.

The agency plans and implements brand strategies and tactics so that customers and prospects recognize a brand and associate it with positive experiences and keep it top of mind. “A brand does not just sell products or services,” said Ms. Molina. “It sells unique experiences.”

The agency’s key clients are Banco Promerica, financial services provider, and Office Depot office supplies.

With its ICOM partner agencies, BCG will team to help grow brands looking to market in Costa Rica.

ICOM Managing Director Gary Burandt said BCG is a welcome new member to the ICOM network. The agency becomes the ninth member of ICOM’s Latin American region.

ICOM  is the world’s largest independent network of advertising and marketing communications agencies composed of more than 100 agencies in more than 60 countries and offers the broadest geographic coverage. Annual billings total US$3.5 billion with gross income exceeding US$500 million.
